BCMG Learn & Take Part offers a range of free opportunities for young people of all ages and experiences to get involved in creating their own music at the CBSO centre in Birmingham. Have a look at what’s on offer:
BCMG Music Maze: Creative and informal composing workshops for children in KS2, led by Director of Learning, Nancy Evans, and supported by BCMG musicians.

BCMG Young Composers: Booking is open here for our Spring 2024 BCMG Young Composers workshops. Across four workshops, young people in KS3 have the opportunity to compose for two BCMG musicians under the guidance of composer Kirsty Devaney.
BCMG Creative Composers Lab: Spaces are still available here for young people aged 14-18 (KS4 & 5) to spend a day composing for a small group of BCMG musicians, led by composer David Horne.
