BCMG Learn and Take Part

 

 

BCMG Learn & Take Part offers a range of free opportunities for young people of all ages and experiences to create their own music at CBSO Centre, Birmingham. Have a look at what’s on offer:

Music Maze (KS2): Creative, fun and informal composing workshops, led by Director of Learning, Nancy Evans and BCMG musicians. All our workshops are fully booked until the spring – to be added to our waiting list please email learning@bcmg.org.uk.

BCMG Young Composers (KS3): Booking is open here for our Spring 2025 BCMG Young Composers workshops. Across four workshops, young people in KS3 have the opportunity to compose for two BCMG musicians under the guidance of professional composer Kirsty Devaney. If you would like to be added to our waiting list for this autumn, please email learning@bcmg.org.uk.

BCMG Creative Composing Lab (KS4 & 5): Spaces are still available here for young people aged 14-18 (KS4 & 5) to spend a day composing for a small group of BCMG musicians, led by professional composer David Horne.
Sunday 3 November 2025, 10am-6pm
