We are delighted to announce BCMG’s composing and creative music making workshop dates for the Autumn term. Please see all the information below!
Music Maze is a series of fun monthly workshops for children in KS2 (7/8 – 11) in which the children get to create their own music with BCMG musicians. Workshops are inspired by different themes and music from BCMG concerts. Children do not need to play a musical instrument to take part. Please see the Autumn Term dates below.

BCMG Young Composers is an exciting project for budding composers aged 11-14 (KS3). We are offering young people the opportunity to compose for BCMG musicians guided by composer Kirsty Devaney. They must be able to attend ALL the workshop sessions, details are listed below.
Sunday 30 October, 10am – 1pm
Sunday 13 November, 10am – 1pm
Sunday 4 December, 10am – 4pm
Creative Composing Lab is an exciting opportunity for young people aged 14-18 to compose guided by the expert knowledge of professional composer David Horne from Royal Northern College of Music and BCMG musicians. Information for the next workshop is below.

BCMG also supports young people in completing their Arts Award Discover and Explore certificates. We hold Arts Award sessions after each Music Maze workshop and have a selection of online resources to explore.
